Dental Technician - CADCAM

Werner Sauer Smile Design is expanding our team and are searching for a motivated person to fill the role of CADCAM / Dental Technician at our Bowen Hills Laboratory.

The role will include, but not limited to: Manufacturing dental prosthesis according to Dentist Rx, through all steps of the process from CAD design and mill to fit and stain/layer; responsibility for the CADCAM department workflow: quality and training, updating softwares, liaising with software and hardware suppliers, troubleshooting and maintenance of milling machines, investigating and adaptation of new technologies and materials
- Diploma of Dental Technology or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in crown and bridge - stain and layering
- 3+ years CAD design and mill experience - single crowns, multiple units, waxups, implants, All on 4
- Proficient in the following softwares: Zirkon Zahn modellier, Exocad, 3 Shape, Blender for Dental, Asiga, Smilecloud, PIC photogrammetry
- Proficient in the following hardware: Asiga 4K, Asiga mini, Zirkon Zahn M1/M2/M1 heavy
- Artistic
- Able to work in a team environment
- High degree of computing competency
- High standard of accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Ability to develop good working relationships with clients
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Desire to produce quality, functional and aesthetically pleasing restorations
- Motivated and eager to learn
- Enthusiastic attitude
- Fluent in English written and spoken

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
