Our main products include Roof Trusses, Wall frames and Posi Struts.

**About This Role**

We are seeking a proactive and safety-focused Yardman to support the efficient operation of the yard and warehouse, including loading and unloading goods, organizing materials and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and supporting inventory control. This role involves both manual handling and forklift operations and requires a team-focused and safety-conscious approach.

**Responsibilities**
- Load and unload timber, tools, equipment, and materials using manual handling techniques or forklift.
- Receive deliveries and assist with the dispatch of goods.
- Refuel, charge, and conduct minor maintenance/repairs on equipment and machinery.
- Assist in preparing plant, tools, and materials for site teams each day.
- Operate forklift and other yard machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist in maintaining effective stock control of materials and equipment.
- Keep yard, warehouse, and factory areas clean, well-organised, and hazard-free.
- Perform general yard tasks such as stacking, sorting, de-nailing, wrapping, packing, and cleaning.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Report hazards, near misses, or incidents immediately.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training as directed.
- Assist team members and supervisors with daily operational tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive team environment

**Experience & Skills**
- Valid Forklift Licence.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction environment
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and lifting tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
