**Event Volunteers for World Teams Disc Golf Championships 2024**

**Location**: Mundaring Sporting Club, Perth, Western Australia
**Event Dates**: 4th November to 9th of November
**Volunteer Commitment**: Flexible shifts available across multiple days

**About the Event**:
Be part of an exciting international sporting event, the 2024 World Teams Disc Golf Championship We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a success. Whether you’re an experienced volunteer or looking to get involved for the first time, we have a range of roles to suit all interests and skills. Join us at Mundaring Disc Golf Course and contribute to a fantastic community event

**Available Volunteer Roles**:
We have multiple roles available, and you can choose where you'd like to contribute:

- **Scoring Team**: Help record and manage player scores. This role requires you to be available for Training on Monday and Tuesday and then be available for the remainder of the tournament
- **Competition Registration**: Check in competitors, distribute player packs, and provide support during registration.
- **Spotters**: Monitor key areas of the course, assist in locating discs, and ensure a smooth pace of play.
- **Crowd Controllers**: Maintain order and ensure spectator safety throughout the event.
- **Announcers**: Provide introduction of players.
- **Practice Area Volunteers - Driving and Putting Range**: Oversee practice areas and ensure they are running smoothly.
- **Car Park Attendants**: Direct vehicles to available parking spaces and maintain smooth traffic flow.
- **Directional Carpark Attendants**: Guide participants and spectators between the car park and the course.
- **Cleaners - Amenities and Bins**: Keep event facilities clean, including restrooms and general areas.
- **VIP Attendants**: Provide dedicated assistance to VIP guests.
- **Bar Attendants**: Help serve beverages in the bar area and maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere.
- **Gazebo Overseer**: Manage gazebos and ensure they are stocked and maintained.
- **Gazebo Set Up and Pack Down**: Help set up and dismantle gazebos for the event.
- **Set Up**: Assist with preparing event infrastructure, signage, and seating before the event
- **Pack Down**: Help dismantle event structures and pack away equipment after the event.
- **Opening Parade - Traffic Marshals**: Direct traffic and ensure safety during the opening parade.

**Who We're Looking For**:

- Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to commit to at least one full shift (shifts vary depending on role)
- No prior experience needed, but an interest in sports or events is a plus
