Sheq Advisor

**About the Opportunity**
Ventia are seeking a SHEQ Advisor to join our team as part of the SA Gas Distribution contract. Partnering with the project leadership team, this role is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and governance of Group and Sector SHEQ programs, systems and processes.
This is a permanent fulltime position based at Wingfield, Adelaide.
**Responsibilities are but are not limited to**:

- Facilitate the implementation of the SHEQ management plan, policies and project procedures.
- Participate in auditing processes to monitor effectiveness of risk controls.
- Lead and manage ICAM and Serious incident investigations and drive learnings into the site and wider business, if required.
- Actively participate in workplace and project communication forums and meetings.
- Ensure actions from inspections, audits, incident investigations, staff meetings and workforce meetings are captured and followed through until closed out.

**Experiences & Qualifications**
- Formal qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety. (Essential) (minimum cert 4)
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a safety / environment or relevant industry role.
- Audit qualification and experience. (Highly regarded)
- ICAM qualifications. (Highly regarded)
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent computer skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft suite.
