As a pivotal player in this transformative development, you will be tasked with orchestrating the meticulous planning and execution of this state-of-the-art facility. Your role will be instrumental in establishing a seamless and efficient flow of goods nationwide and into the global market.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan for Stage 1A of the BIFT project, with experience using Primavera, MS Project, 6-week Lookahead Templates, and other planning tools to assist in programme development.
- Manage weekly and monthly reporting cycles internally for the delivery team and externally for client visibility.
- Capable of managing Earned Value and critical milestone tracking - i.e., KRAs.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and are aligned with the overarching vision for the BIFT development.
- Oversee the planning process, from conceptual design through to execution, ensuring sustainability practices are embedded at every stage.
- Monitor progress against the project timeline and budget, adapting plans as necessary to address challenges and capitalise on opportunities.
- Lead a team of planning professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Engage with the community and key partners to ensure the project supports local and regional economic growth and job creation.

**To be successful in this key role, you must have**:

- A degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, combined with extensive experience in planning and managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Capability to present and be front-facing with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Ability to summarise complex problems into succinct messages for senior management to understand risk/cost impacts.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team of planners or project professionals.
