Our client is of Australia’s leading organisations that have been in operation for nearly 60 years within the Mining & Engineering Industry. From mine development to materials delivery, they manage mines for some of the world’s largest companies.

**Your new role**
As a Mechanical Fitter you will be required to provide repairs and maintenance to mining machinery and equipment. This will include but not be limited to major components like engines, transmissions, torque converters, final drives, differentials, and minor components including pumps and cylinders.

As a Trade Assistant, you will have a large background working alongside Boilermakers, Fitters, and other heavy industrial trades, while having extensive experience with providing maintenance to large machinery such as Cat & Hitachi Diggers, Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders etc. or similar machinery and equipment.

This position will require you to work Monday to Friday, full-time hours.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Mechanic Fitter Trade Certificate
- Forklift Licence is highly regarded
- Background in Mining/Oil & Gas & experience with Cat & Hitachi machinery is highly regarded
