**Objectives of the Role**
- Serve as a trusted expert in orthodontic and preventive dental care for children, teens, and adults.
- Deliver comprehensive orthodontic services with a focus on function, health, and aesthetics.
- Lead by example—fostering a supportive, high-performing culture among assistants, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Strengthen referral networks through professional relationships with local dentists.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in orthodontics and contribute to continuous improvement in patient care.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Examine teeth, jaws, and oral structures using diagnostic tools like X-rays, scans, and clinical evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat malocclusion, misalignment, and jaw abnormalities using braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances.
- Assess facial aesthetics and developmental progress to guide appropriate treatment planning.
- Provide education and consultation to patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and long-term care.
- Prescribe medications or devices as part of comprehensive treatment plans.
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
**Required Qualifications**
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Board-certified orthodontist (or board eligible)
- Active state license to practice orthodontics (e.g., CRDTS or CDCA-WREB)
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- High level of precision, ethics, and attention to detail
**Preferred Qualifications**
- 1-2 years of post-residency experience in clinical orthodontics
- Advanced degree from an accredited orthodontic specialty program
- Comfort with both traditional and modern orthodontic systems (e.g., clear aligners, digital imaging)

Pay: $100.00 - $200.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
