Protech is a leading Supplier of Trades and Industrial staff to the Rolling Stock industry in Victoria

We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters for positions in Newport for about a 15 months project.

Previous rolling stock experience isn't a requirement but will be highly regarded.

This position will include fitting of components, maintenance and upgrades and will be working in teams of experienced trades people with training and direction available for all new staff.

**Requirements**:

- Trade qualified
- Working at Heights Ticket preferred
- Current RIW card an advantage
- Rail Cat 3 medical an advantage
- Experience in manufacturing or heavy maintenance
- Own hand tools
- Good team player

**Responsibilities**:

- Assembling, modifying, or maintaining Rolling Stock
- Working with plans and schematics
- Entering work logs

- 8 hour shift

- Monday to Friday
