Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor

**LOGISTICS & WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR**

$85k-$90k + Super

Stoke Furniture, a leading National Furniture Wholesaler with it's Head Office in Melbourne, is seeking a Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor to join the team and oversee the operations of the Melbourne Warehouse.

This is a dynamic and hands on role that requires you to lead from the front by managing the operations of the Warehouse including actively participating in manual tasks, including lifting and moving of cartons in the early stages.

The main duties include:

- Coordinate Stock Movements (inwards and outwards)
- Supervise the Warehouse Team, providing assistance, leadership and guidance
- Coordinate container deliveries and collections/dehire
- Coordinate the use of casual staff when required
- Oversee accurate storage, picking and loading of product.
- Plan and book deliveries to meet customer expectations
- Liaise with customers and third party logistics providers for efficient logistics coordination
- Ensure proper maintenance and safety of equipment
- Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with regulations
- Oversee the implementation of Warehouse Software Systems, including RF Scanning.
- Meet or exceed Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for operational excellence

The first 3-6 months will be hands on, working with the Melbourne Warehouse team of approximately 4 people. During this time you will develop processes to make the Warehouse more efficient and train up a 2IC.

The next 6-12 months will involve overseeing and training the Interstate Warehouse teams. This will include the implementation of a new Warehouse Software System
- Proven experience in Warehousing, along with Warehouse and Logistics accreditations
- Experience in utilizing Warehouse software, Barcoding and managing Bin Locations
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock management
- Physical Fitness is required as some cartons are heavy
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all staff
- Strong problem solving abilities

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

- Warehouse supervisor: 4 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
