Commercial Diver

**Commercial Diver - Kingston Tasmania**

Tasmanian Divers Group is a commercial diving business in Tasmania with a strong focus on quality outcomes for our commercial clients. The commercial diving operations encompass the whole of Tasmania and Bass Strait islands. They now wish to appoint a commercial Diver, and Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are assisting us in this critical recruitment process. The role is full time, and ongoing.

**Location** - Kingston Tasmania

**Salary** - the successful applicant will enjoy a salary of $70k plus superannuation per annum.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Commercial diving operations to 50m (70%) statewide
- Maintenance TDG equipment (20%)
- Small vessel operations (10%)

**Qualifications & experience**
- 3 years (or more) commercial diving experience in a variety of commercial diving operations to 50m. (Requires appropriate certifications)
- Certificate IV in a relevant area, or agreed substitute
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic maintenance (e.g. mechanical, fitting) activities.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake routine tasks, follow safe work practices and work part of a cohesive team.
- Strong communication skills (including good English language skills).
- Computer literacy.
- Current first aid, CPR, and oxygen provider certification (WH&S recognised)
- Current AS/NZS 2299.1 occupational dive medical
- Coxswains Restricted or Open (desirable).
- Medium Rigid driver’s license (desirable).
- Forklift license (desirable).
