Appliance Technician

Title: Appliance Technician (Electronic Equipment Trades Worker)

Work Type: Full-time (38 hours per week, plus reasonable additional hours as needed)

Location: 20/36 Leighton Place, Hornsby NSW 2077

Expected Salary: Annual salary will be between $60,000 - $80,000 (plus superannuation), depending on level of experience.

Master Appliance has a dedicated and experienced workforce and a management team committed to maintaining our place as a leader in appliance repair services.

As a result of our ongoing operations and organisational needs, we are currently looking for an experienced Appliance Technician (Electronic Equipment Trades Worker) for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Sydney, NSW.

Main tasks:

- Diagnosing faults in home appliances and white goods
- Adjusting, repairing and replacing worn and defective parts in home appliances and white goods
- Maintaining home appliances and white goods
- Reassembling, test operating and adjusting home appliances and white goods
- Installing electronic and mechanical parts for home appliances and white goods
- Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunction

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

- Relevant Certificate IV plus minimum 2 years’ work experience; OR 3 years’ work experience in case of no formal qualification.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

- Sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude towards work-related matters.
- Sound organisational skills
- Technical and on-the-job competencies and skills.

Annual salary will be between $60,000 - $80,000 (plus super), depending on level of experience.
