About the role

Reporting to the General Manager the Retail Buyer role forms an integral part of our strategy and our commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.

In this role, you will be required to manage and procure all required produce at its best value to our customer demands.

This role is based in Sunshine VIC with onsite parking available.

Main tasks/responsibilities

The list below is not exhaustive, and the duties/responsibilities may vary to meet the overall objectives of the company.

Manage and track all stock levels within your warehouse on a day-to-day basis.

Monitor and audit the quality of stock on hand daily.

Work weekly with strategic supply partners and build effective relationships.

Work towards ensuring the business’s required margins are met.

Manage pricing with the sales teams on a weekly basis and keep up to date with market trends.

Communicate with sales team regularly about current market movements and forecasting.

Work closely with operations ensuring warehouse flow and order packing is efficient.

Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Communicate all information clearly and in a timely manner.

Manage and resolve escalated issues and provide solutions.

Contribute to the continuous improvement through analysing and challenging processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Be a role model and build a culture of customer experience excellence.

Essential Criteria

Produce experience

Availability to work early hours & Saturdays

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

Work well independently and in a team environment

Excellent organisational skills

Experience managing a workflow or process

Ability to utilise software programs and Microsoft Office.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
