**Assistant Coordinator| Out of School Hours Care (OSHC / OOSH) | Glenbrook Area / Lower Blue Mountains**

An opportunity has opened up for an Assistant Coordinator to join this NFP community based parent committee centre nestled amongst the gum trees in the lower Blue Mountains.

- Work with the current Assistant Coordinator with an extended handover

A boutique NFP OSHC service are looking for an Assistant Coordinator to join their lovely service located on school grounds in a quiet community, that is nestled amongst the gum trees in the lower Blue Mountains.

You will be required to help run the day to day activities of the service and to eventually take on the part of the Coordinator role when the Coordinator while the Coordinator is on Mat Leave.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Preferable experience as an Assistant Coordinator / Team Leader in OSHC or early childhood.
- Experience leading a team, someone with great leadership skills who can lead, guide and motivate the amazing team already in place in a positive way.
- Someone looking for a change of organisation, who wants to step up and make a positive difference and who can take charge and ownership of the service.
- Excellent computer, communication, time management and organisational skills.
- Dedicated to developing a harmonious team environment, incorporating leadership based on respect, understanding and effective communication.
- Diploma in Children’s Services (Out-of-Hours Care), or equivalent / higher, is desirable.
- **CHCPRT001**:Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection.
- **HLTAID012**:Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NQF and all it embodies - NQS, Framework, Regulations.
