**The Opportunity**:
Looking for a full-time role with an immediate start? SMS Mining Services are looking for experienced Tyre Fitters for our project in the Pilbara, WA region.

**Roster Available**: 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth, WA

**Role Located**:Pilbara & WA Gold Fields

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

Additionally, you will:

- Remove and fit rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment as required
- Remove and refit tyres and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment as required
- Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust and report to supervisor
- Source technical information from available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems
- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of equipment non-conformance, identify and record any equipment quality problems, initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels
- Be able to work in accordance with the site's procedures.

**What we are looking for**:

- Earthmoving machinery - Tyre fitting experience
- Heavy Duty Tyre Fitting Trade Certificate - (Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or OTR Tyre Fitting Course)
- Current Manual Driver's License Essential
- Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi Equipment
- Previous experience in the mining industry
- Able to Pass Pre-Employment Medical
