RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and lead a team of cloud experts serving your target geography and industries
- Design services and continuously improve our methodology and consulting offerings
- Drive EPAM’s cloud go-to-market strategy. Organize and participate in various events, and produce publications and presentations within and beyond the organization
- Collaborate closely with the EPAM Sales and Account Management teams to achieve practice and regional business plans, as well as customer acquisition targets
- Establish and develop mutually beneficial relationships with Cloud Australia partnership organizations, driving joint business development efforts
- Engage with customer organizations at the executive/C-level, helping customers drive enterprise-wide cloud transformation agendas
- Work closely with businesses to identify solution requirements and key case studies/scenarios for future solutions
- Enable cloud journeys, analyze TCO, create business cases, and make the cloud dream a reality
- Design and prototype cloud solutions, and create solution architecture documents covering deep technical aspects of the implementation
- Create a unified strategy for cloud transformation governance, automation, security, implementation, and operations
- Conduct cloud solutions architecture reviews/audits and create review/audit reports
- Lead the implementation of solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live."
- Oversee development efforts and provide technical assistance as needed
- Lead clients through the technical and organizational challenges of cloud transformation on a day-to-day basis
- Participate in the full cycle of pre-sale activities, including RFP processing, proposal development, and direct communications with potential clients
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices
- Create thought leadership on cloud solutions and hybrid clouds
- Serve as a cloud evangelist, consulting and providing technical guidance on cloud solutions design, build, governance, security, operations, and cost control best practices

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Managerial/team leadership position in a cloud professional services organization or leading cloud consultancy
- 7+ years of experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability
- Deep expertise in solution architecture, including web services, relational and non-relational databases, front-end and/or back-end technologies
- Good exposure to Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration (CI), and automated deployment
- Experience working with highly scalable, performant, and mission-critical architectures
- Avid technologist with deep expertise in modern cloud architecture and a history of successful implementation of complex cloud solutions
- Ability to suggest competitive and innovative technical decisions, gain client buy-in, and deliver on commitments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Cloud certifications are an additional advantage
