Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic Sports Coaches to deliver engaging and inclusive physical education and sports programs to children aged 5-16. As a coach, you’ll work in a variety of settings—schools, homeschool groups, and community programs—supporting physical development and encouraging healthy lifestyles.

Coaching opportunities may be available at various locations across the Greater Sydney region up to and including Wollongong and Blue Mountains regions.

Please note: This position is intended for Term 4 and is dependent on programs becoming available. At this stage, we are still confirming bookings, and are seeking expressions of interest from coaches who are available and ready to step into roles as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver fun, safe, and age-appropriate sports sessions
- Follow Young Athletes developed programs, adopting our structures and teaching methods
- Adapt activities to suit various skill levels and learning styles
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all sessions
- Maintain equipment and report any issues
- Support the development of program materials and evaluation

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children in a coaching or teaching capacity
- Strong knowledge of sports and physical education
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Reliable transportation to various program locations - coaches are required to transport equipment provided by the company to and from sessions

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
