**Position Overview**

As a **Support Worker**, you will play an essential role in assisting individuals with disabilities to achieve greater independence and access the support they need. You will work closely with our client in Corinda, QLD, providing person-centered care tailored to their unique goals and needs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Facilitate and support the client in navigating their NDIS plan effectively.
- Provide hands-on assistance with daily living tasks as required.
- Support the client with community engagement, including appointments and activities.
- Encourage and foster the client's independence in their environment.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to the team and client.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Experience**: Previous experience in disability support or similar roles is highly desirable.
- **Skills**: Strong organizational skills, empathy, and effective communication.
- **Flexibility**: The ability to adapt to the client's specific needs and preferences.
- **Professionalism**: A positive attitude, reliability, and respect for client privacy.

Schedule & Availability
- **Days**: Flexible, based on client requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Current **National Police Check**.
- **Working With Children Check** (Blue Card).
- **NDIS Worker Screening Check**:

- **First Aid/CPR Certification**:

- **Certificate I I I In Disability Or Mental Health or Equivalent**:

- Driver’s license and access to a reliable fully insured vehicle (preferred).
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities (advantageous).
