We are seeking passionate and skilled **Specialist Family Violence Practitioners** to join our team at **The Orange Door - Hume Merri-bek Area**. These are **full-time, 12-month fixed-term positions**, based across our Broadmeadows, Craigieburn, and Sunbury sites.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team and under a matrix management model, you will play a critical role in supporting victim survivors of family violence through early intervention, safety planning, and risk assessment.

- ** $110K + 11.5% Super + Salary Packaging ($15,900 p.a.) pro rata**
**About the Role**
As a Specialist Family Violence Hub Practitioner, you will play a critical role in family violence risk assessment, safety planning and engagement of victim survivors and their children into any supports they need. This includes adopting an integrated approach to safety and child wellbeing. The referrals are a combination of police referred, victim survivors calling our service directly, or referrals from other services. The service can be provided by contacting victim survivors by phone, face to face at The Orange Door (HMA) or conducting outreach appointments.
**We’re seeking practitioners with**:
- A Bachelor qualification in Social Work, or equivalent experience under the 7 Equivalency Principles.
- Experience working in the family violence sector, ideally in intake, triage or assessment.
- A strong understanding of the integrated family violence service system.
- Commitment to trauma-informed, intersectional practice.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
