**The opportunity**:
As the **Security Projects Advisor**, you’ll lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of protective security requirements across major projects - from substations to control centres and corporate facilities. You'll be at the forefront of integrating security controls and risk mitigation strategies into the delivery of both network and non-network projects, ensuring compliance with the **Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SoCI)**, **Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)**, and other relevant regulatory obligations.

**What you'll bring**:
You’re someone who thrives in a regulated environment, understands the real-world implications of critical infrastructure protection, and knows how to bring together technical, strategic, and operational expertise.

You’ll bring:

- Proven experience in delivering physical/electronic security projects in operational or critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of threat and risk assessment methodologies, security standards (AS/NZS, PSPF, AESCSF), and project lifecycle management.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and align project outcomes with security best practices.

Essential Qualifications
- Associate Diploma level qualification in Project Delivery discipline (eg Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Project Management), or a related discipline, or lesser qualification with significant experience in security advisory or project delivery roles within critical infrastructure sectors (preferably electricity or utilities)
- Security Advisors Licence (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
