Pontoon Boat Hire Assistant

We're looking for a reliable and flexible person to manage our pontoon hire boat operations. This is a casual, on-call role — some weeks may have daily bookings, while others may have none. It's perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has boating experience, and can commit to being available on short notice.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the pontoon boat while docked in Tewantin
- Deliver the boat to guests and collect it at the end of each hire
- Perform guest safety briefings and check ID/waivers
- Complete pre
- and post-hire boat inspections
- Refuel, clean, and ensure the boat is always hire-ready
- Record and report any maintenance or incident issues
**Requirements**:
- **Boat Licence** (Required - Queensland Recreational Marine Licence or equivalent)
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Physically capable of managing ropes, fenders, fuel, etc.
- Own transport to/from Tewantin dock
- Confident communication and people skills
**Preferred**
- Prior boat handling or marine/tourism experience
- First Aid/CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
**We also have a Resort Groundskeeper position available which can be merged with this position for the right applicant.
