We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Arborist to join our Trees Maintenance team in delivering a high level of presentation for the City’s parks, gardens, reserves, sportsgrounds, streetscapes, and roadsides.
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Remuneration of $2,391.68 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $2,870.02 gross per fortnight + superannuation (11.5%).

**Your new role**:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated arborist to work within the tree team to deliver a high level of presentation and maintenance for the City’s trees in streets, parks, gardens, reserves and sportsgrounds as well as delivering quality customer service.

**Duties of this position include but are not limited to**:

- Undertake arboriculture duties including pruning, removal, fertilising, planting, and tree watering.
- Implement maintenance programs and work schedules to agreed service levels. Provide industry input in refining these programs in association with the street tree audit.
- Operate and maintain Council plant and equipment with an emphasis on elevated work platform, truck, loader, chipper, chainsaw, and tractor and implement operation.

**What will you need to succeed**:
To be successful you must possess:

- A Certificate III in Arboriculture.
- Class MR Truck Driver’s Licence.
- General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
- SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Card - Implement Traffic Control Plans(Desirable).
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
- In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation, the successful applicant is required to be vaccinated for Hepatitis B and will be asked to provide evidence of this._
