The four key portfolios are Corporate, Operations and Infrastructure and planning. The mission of the Facilities and Services Division is to ‘enable academic excellence at the ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery’. The four key portfolios within the Division are Infrastructure and planning, Operations and Corporate. Located within the Venues and Functions team within the Corporate portfolio, the Venues and Functions team incorporates the key performing arts facilities located at the ANU including Kambri, Llewellyn Hall and their associated venues. The Technical Services Officer is responsible for the coordination, design and operation of the technical systems for the venues, ensuring the delivery of events, outcome and objectives that meet client requirements. The team also assists with delivery of tertiary teaching programs and operates several performance venues including the 1335 seat concert venue, Llewellyn Hall and 500 seat theatre, Manning Clarke Hall. To be successful in this role you will require high calibre communication and engagement skills, extensive lighting and audio visual experience, a genuine commitment to providing value for money outcomes for the University and customer focused service for both internal and external clients. The ability to work as an effective team leader, set priorities and meet deadlines is an essential requirement. Out-of-hours work will be required.
