Scope & Overall Purpose of the Job:
The Sales Operations team is responsible for optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of TGE’s sales function. By providing strategic direction, leveraging technology, fostering cross-functional collaboration and enhancing processes, this team ensures that the sales function has the necessary tools and resources to drive growth and success.

The **Head of Systems & Sales Data Management**is responsible for overseeing the management, integrity, and strategic development of sales systems and data, leading a team that represents system administration, system enablement and data management. This role ensures the seamless operation and optimisation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and provides leadership in sales data governance.

They are responsible for the long-term development roadmap of the CRM System in collaboration with the CRM Product Owner and working alongside the Data team to achieve data simplification. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to align systems and data strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring that sales teams are empowered with accurate data, efficient tools, and actionable insights.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- In collaboration with the CRM Product Owner, lead the development roadmap for CRM enhancements and new feature implementations to improve system functionality and user experience.
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and optimization of sales-related technology platforms, ensuring alignment with business needs, including data integration with Salesforce.
- Managing and maintaining sales databases in collaboration with TGE Data Team
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to streamline sales operations and enhance productivity.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain accurate, clean, and reliable sales data.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment of system capabilities with business goals.
- SME for training and enablement content for CRM users in collaboration with Sales Enablement manager and L&D
- Define and drive the strategic vision for sales systems and data management, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of the CRM enhancement roadmap in collaboration with the CRM Product Owner, focusing on system functionality and user experience improvements.
- Oversee the configuration, customisation, and optimisation of sales-related technology platforms, including data integration with Salesforce, to meet evolving business needs.
- Establish and enforce robust data governance policies to maintain the accuracy, cleanliness, and reliability of sales data.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure system capabilities align with business goals and drive organisational efficiency.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance sales operations and productivity.
- Lead and mentor a team of system administrators, and data specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Act as a key liaison between sales, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment on system and data initiatives.
- Oversee the development of training and enablement content for CRM users in collaboration with the Sales Enablement Manager and Learning & Development team.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Key Performance Measures
- Percentage of planned enhancements delivered on schedule.
- Percentage of users actively using new CRM features.
- Improvement in individual and team performance through proactive monitoring and coaching support
- Percentage of manual tasks automated.
- Measured decrease in time spent on manual data entry and reporting.
- Reduction in data inconsistencies over time.
- Percentage of CRM data that meets predefined quality standards (e.g., no duplicates, missing fields).

Required Skills & Capabilities:

- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills in managing sales systems and data.
- Expertise in CRM platform Salesforce and system optimization.
- Deep understanding of data governance, data integrity, and compliance best practices.
- Experience with business intelligence tools and data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Salesforce CMRA, Tableau).
- Ability to analyse sales data and drive insights for decision-making.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of automation, API integrations, and system enhancements.
- Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and automation tools to enhance CRM functionality.
