Tweed Heads, Australia Agape Outreach Inc. Full time

Agape is looking for a baraista to run 2 training classes per week teaching people how to make coffees. this is 2 x 2 hours classes per week, held in the afternoon (weekdays) there is a possibility of more hours being offered later after starting.

Agape Outreach Inc. is the only organisation of its kind, Agape delivers support across all stages of homelessness: prevention, intervention, and postvention. Our holistic model provides immediate relief by addressing food insecurity while also equipping individuals with the skills and resources to cope mentally while homeless and to achieve and maintain long-term stability after securing housing.

Agape’s volunteer-fueled structure, combined with university placements for students in training, ensures cost-effective services that reach large numbers of people in need. This approach fosters professional development and community engagement. Additionally, our programs address social isolation among local senior citizens, creating opportunities for connection, purpose, and inclusion—both as volunteers and as clients.

Agape supports the homeless and needy between Byron Bay NSW and Runaway Bay QLD. Providing 1500 hot meals per week on the streets and through Agape’s venue in Tweed Heads where we provide FREE food hampers to families in need, case management to assist in finding housing, psychologist access, shower, and laundry access, and basic life skills training classes such as barista, cooking, budgeting, and drug and alcohol support programs.

Pay: $36.84 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
