Teacher/illustrator/artist

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate art lessons for students of various ages (children, teens, and adults), ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
- Teach a variety of techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and other artistic disciplines as relevant.
- Provide constructive feedback and individualized attention to students to help them develop their artistic skills and confidence.
- Prepare and assess students' artwork in line with curriculum guidelines.
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure cohesive program delivery.
- Organize and participate in exhibitions and showcases of students' work.
- Maintain a safe and clean studio space, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Keep up-to-date with art education practices, and integrate new techniques or trends into the lessons.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- An experience in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience teaching art to children and/or adults in a classroom or studio setting.
- A demonstrated ability to create engaging and educational lesson plans.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
- Must be able to manage the website
- Strong experience in Social medias related to art
- Must meet the eligibility requirements for a work visa, in accordance with government regulations for international applicants.

Desirable:

- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Familiarity with virtual/online art instruction and tools.
- Ability to teach specialized art forms (e.g., digital art, sketching, oil painting, etc.).
- Work with Wix website system

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
