**What’s the role?**

Financial Markets & Treasury Operations forms part of WIB Operations under Group Operations within the Chief Operating Office division.

WIB Operations supports the Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB), and we pride ourselves on being a business unit that is equipped to meet the ever-changing needs of the market, while remaining committed to our different customers, stakeholders, and products. Financial Markets & Treasury Operations is managed through its Central Hub in Sydney utilising a 24 hour follow the sun model which is supported by our Global FX Operations team.

The role of the Officer, Financial Markets and Treasury is responsible for the confirmations and settlement of a portfolio of transactions traded by Westpac Banking Corporation and its subsidiaries. Products include Deposits, BONDS, REPOS, FX, Carbon, Bilateral and Syndicated Loans.

**What do I need?**
- Minimum 2 years industry experience
- Specific product knowledge advantageous (Syndicated, Bilateral Loans)
- Specific product knowledge advantageous (Bonds, Derivatives, FX)
- Specific system knowledge advantageous (Euroclear, Murex, Calypso)
- Excellent focus on attention to detail with the capability to work and make decisions in a fast paced environment
