Better Lifestyle For You are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, experienced, reliable and empathetic Support Workers who want to make a difference by supporting our participants in achieving their goals and living their best life.

Better Lifestyle For You is looking for support workers within the Elsternwick area for day shift

The role may involve:

- Assistance with community access and recreational activities
- Assist participants to develop and maintain life/skills and/or pre-vocational skill sets as identified in their NDIS plan
- Transportation and supporting social engagement
- Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning

**Requirements**:

- Cert III Individual Support (Disability) equivalent or higher
- Professional or lived experience supporting and/or caring for a person with a disability
- Help increase their independence
- Experience using a Hoist, PEG Feeding, or with Epilepsy Management
- Experience supporting people with Mental Health and Complex Behaviours
- Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to Better Lifestyle For You

Essential criteria:

- An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person-centred support
- Transferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approach
- A valid driver's licence and a reliable registered vehicle
- Current Police Check
- First Aid Certificate including CPR
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilities
- The legal right to work in Australia
