Art Teacher

Established in 1999, Global Art’s Creative Teaching and Learning Methodology have been nurturing and developing children’s creativity throughout the world. Globalart is the world's largest chain of art centres and is expanding quickly. There are more than 600 centres in 21 countries and 11 centres in Sydney now.

The new Globalart Gordon centre is looking for art teachers and teacher assistants.

Art or design background is required. Flexible working hours, starting from part time, full training in art curriculum will be provided.

Job description:
To teach preschool and school-aged children drawing, painting and craftwork based on Gloablart International syllabus. Answering students’ inquiries. Offering support and solutions to students.

Selection criteria:

- A Diploma or Undergraduate qualification in Visual Art or Design (both current students and graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication skills, reliable and punctual, friendly and engaging.
- Experience in teaching or working with children is strongly preferred.
- Good time and classroom management
- Flexibility in working shifts (morning/afterschool hours/weekends)
- Permitted to work in Australia
- Current Working with Children Check is essential
