**CAFE ASSISTANT - BARISTA**

We’re looking for an experienced Café Assistant - Barista with excellent communication to join François Coffee Boutique at our brand new location in Eastland Shopping Centre.

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled café professional to join our rapidly growing organisation while utilising their extensive hospitality knowledge to help us cement our brand as a specialty coffee destination.

The product we serve is the barista’s focus, but how the guest feels as at every encounter is just as important. We strive for the perfect extraction with a side of genuine connection.

Ultimately, the Café Assistant - Barista would:

- Confidently communicate and showcase our unique coffee offering
- Maintain standards for coffee, guest experience and presentation
- Support a small team to thrive
- Maintain systems and procedures
- Manage stock inventory and wastage

Our state of the art coffee equipment can only ever so slightly be eclipsed by our specialty award-winning signature blend, individually roasted as single origins daily here in Melbourne, then blended in to achieve the perfect balance. This marries perfectly with our locally-sourced Jersey milk or your favourite alternative milk.

**THE ROLE & BENEFITS**

The management duties are light due to the small size of the team and targeted offering (small, high-quality food offering).
