**THE POSITION**

The People and Capability Coordinator is one of three members in the People and Capability Team and plays an active role in coordinating many aspects of the People and Capability function, with a particular focus on talent acquisition and management, compliance, and generalist HR processes.

**ABOUT YOU**

As a passionate HR professional, you have a keen interest in finding and retaining talent within an organisation. You enjoy working on various projects within a generalist HR portfolio and have a passion for improvement, efficiencies, and innovation.

**Essential**
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business or similar, or equivalent level of experience in a related area
- Excellent understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes
- Understanding of generalist HR, including industrial and employee relations
- A passion to contribute to the employee experience within a values-based, not-for-profit organisation
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make a positive impact
- Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
- Demonstrated ability to confidently develop key relationships, building trust and sound professional partnerships
- Commitment to work within and positively advance the College’s mission and Mercy values

**Desirable**:

- Professional Industry membership (AHRI) or involvement in relevant network
- Understanding of the principles of a Catholic community organisation

Classification is ESS Level 4 Classification in accordance with the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
- $88,491 - $100,796 gross per annum (dependent on experience) plus 11.5% superannuation
- 7 weeks school holiday leave per year
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum
