**About the role**

Our Government client is seeking a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals with expertise in enterprise-grade technology solutions, integration architectures, and system operation to compliment teams of capable resources. This is with the aim to build strategy, establish architectures and operations and manage delivery capabilities in line with the clients strategic outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced **DevOps Engineer **to support deployment mechanisms for releases, and coordinate with change management to ensure timely updates to APIs and shared corporate components.

This role is based on-site in Canberra and requires a minimum Baseline clearance.

**About you**

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Provide guidance and advice to consumers, stakeholders and the team
- Contribute to enterprise DevOps standards and methodologies
- Collaborate with the test automation and release management to embed best practices into the CI/CD process.
- Ensuring major software development milestones are aligned to environment strategy.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Baseline security clearance.
- Minimum 3 years experience with Federal Government in a similar role is essential
- Experience working with Microsoft APIM and DevOps systems, and drive/govern team uptake of enterprise methodology is preferred
- Experience in working with Agile as a practice and a part of a multi-disciplinary agile team in a high-paced, delivery focused environment.
- Experience with using Microsoft software, services and cloud infrastructure is preferred
