**The Role**

Our Home Care services empower older people to live at home independently and safely. You will take the lead to support and provide individualised care tailored to the needs of each client and their families.

This is a casual role, and will cover a variety of shifts, so you must be available and flexible within the hours of 07.00 - 17.00 ideally.

You will be servicing our clients in** **the** Inner west **and must be able to travel to this area on a regular basis. These areas include,** Ashfield, Burwood, Glebe, Marrickville, Strathfield and surrounds.**

To be a Home Care provider you will be of a compassionate and supportive nature to assist our elderly clients to live as independently as possible at home, listening to their individual needs and tailoring the services to achieve their best possible living standards.

In addition, you will have:

- A desire to help improve the lives of the elderly and their families
- Compassionate interpersonal skills and an empathy with older people
- Certificate III in Aged Care / Disability Support or related field
- Or - you may be interested in SCC helping you to obtain these qualifications while working with us.
- Prior experience in a similar role in the community/home care
- Current driver's license and car with full comprehensive insurance
- Time management skills
- Reliable and trustworthy - our clients are dependent on you.
- Ability to work with mínimal to no supervision
- Able to provide evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations
- Able to provide evidence of flu vaccinations
- An Aged Care or NDIS services background or experience working in hospitality, tourism, catering, hotel management, accommodation services or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working independently and remotely in customers’ homes and in the local community.
- Certifications or transcripts with medications in the community
