**About the Unit**
The Research Facilities & Infrastructure (RFI) team within the Research & Innovation Division is a specialist team which oversees the strategy and operations of the University’s research and higher-risk teaching spaces. We drive the realisation of world-class research facilities and infrastructure, working with our colleagues in the Colleges and Divisions of the University.
The RFI team is a part of the Research & Innovation Division (R&I Division) and incorporates the BioResearch Facilities (BRF), the Central Analytical Facilities (CAF) and Research Infrastructure and Planning (RIP).
The R&I Division more broadly promotes and enhances the University's strong and vibrant research culture by attracting, training, and supporting researchers and industry partnerships to solve real-world problems, including through the provision of world-class research infrastructure.
**Be challenged and imagine with us**
In this role you will:
- be the interface between the Precinct Management Committees, key stakeholders and the wider precinct community;
- lead virtual Precinct teams to deliver on developed strategies, processes, and procedures;
- work closely with technical and professional staff in the Precincts, as well as academics and other parties undertaking research and teaching activities in these areas, supporting:
- safe work practices
- infrastructure mapping and planning
- efficient allocation and utilisation of spaces
This position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).
