**We are seeking Poultry Process Workers for our client, one of Australia’s largest Poultry Suppliers, located in Murarrie QLD.**
- Ongoing casual position with full time hours (average 38 hours/week, plus overtime opportunities)
- Ongoing training is provided plus progression opportunities
- All uniforms and PPE provided
- Safe working environment
- Great opportunity to start a career in the meat industry with one of Australia’s largest Poultry Processors
- Morning shift starting from 5am
- Afternoon shift starting from 3:00pm

**The responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to)**:

- Working on a production line
- Completing manual handling duties
- Packing, bagging, and sorting chicken products
- Machine Operating roles
- Scale Operating roles
- Perform processing task efficiently and working to meet individual and group targets
- Knife Hand roles - Cutting, trimming, de boning
- Commit to working safely and following procedures
- Adhere to all company & WHS policies and procedures

**To be successful, you must meet the following requirements**:

- Driver’s license and own reliable transport
- Industry experience preferred but not necessary
- Previous knife experience desirable
- Able to pass a drug, alcohol, and physical assessment
- Must be double vaccinated for COVID
- Be physically fit and able to repetitively lift 5kg - 15kg
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Positive attitude to safety
- Unlimited working rights in Australia

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $27.59 - $32.14 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Murarrie, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)
- Food processing: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
