As a deeply grounded NDIS and Aged Care provider, we require Support Workers on a casual premise with a view towards permanency. One should be adaptable and flexible to work with individuals with diverse special needs and to help frail, older people, including the prematurely aged, living in the community to maximize their independence.

**About the Role**

**Deivian Care is looking for a Support Workers in Traralgon (VIC) and surrounding suburbs **with expertise helping vulnerable and marginalized persons through high-quality case management, social work, and outreach. You will play an important role for many participants who may be excluded from mainstream healthcare, social support, and opportunities, negatively impacting their functioning and independence in the community. You'll use evidence-based, integrated, and person-centered approaches to give individualized assistance using clinical frameworks and modalities to create co-developed realistic recovery programs that are both individualized and powerful. Your goal is to help and encourage people to recognize their own self-efficacy and make long-term changes by taking control of their own journey.

**About You**
- Experience with High Spectrum Autism, ADHD, High Behaviours of Concern
- Must have a Car and valid License
- Interested to do domestic assistance.

**Job Role and Responsibilities**

**Clients’ program is 24/7 with 2:1 support and active overnight.**

Disabilities: Autism, Intellectual Disability Tourette's syndrome, ADHD, Language Disorder Functional Neurological Disorder and, OCD requiring support workers to have experience in Trauma Enforced and Disability background.

Mental Health conditions: Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Unspecified Bipolar Disorder, and unspecified dissociative disorder.

Trauma: Pre-verbal aversive childhood experiences

Health Conditions: Mucocutaneous bleeding disorder

Client is an active, young teenager, he has a daily schedule in place which involves community participation daily. Activities include going to the park, beach, Op shop visits, adventure parks, riding his bike and scooter, jumping on the trampoline, basketball, going to parks, fishing, swimming and exploring the community.

**4 main Behaviours of Concern**:
Verbal Aggression

Property Damage/Destruction

Physical Aggression towards others

Harm to Self/physical and wandering.

Compulsive eating of food/binge eating.

**Experience/Certification Required**
- Relevant qualification in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support/Social Work
- Full Victorian Driver's License and your own vehicle (registered in your name)
- National Criminal Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid & CPR (or willingness to get one)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Manual Handling (not mandatory but preferable)

**Salary**:$32.00 per hour (weekdays)

Schedule:
