**About the Venue**:
Caves Coastal Bar & Bungalows is nestled amongst the sand dunes at Caves Beach. Only an hour from Sydney or 40 minutes from Newcastle, Caves Coastal is the perfect location for delicious eats, decadent drinks and luxury accommodation. The hotel offers the perfect beachside venue for any event, specialising in weddings, corporate and social functions. With a paddock to plate ethos, the kitchen team are ready to offer the freshest and best local produce to every guest

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the smooth running of our events, directing and overseeing Food & Beverage staff whilst liaising with the kitchen and operational aspects of the event
- Be customer service driven and a superstar communicator with event organisers and guests to consistently deliver memorable experiences
- Be ahead of the game, passionate, a quick thinker and reliable with excellent attention to detail
- Mentor, lead, motivate and help grow an energetic and diverse group of Food & Beverage event staff
- Be inspired to bring fresh and creative ideas to constantly improve areas within the business. We value your opinion
- Supervise set up of events to meet the client needs including bump in and bump out of all suppliers
- Continuously solve and respond to issues surrounding the event to make the day as perfect as it can be

**About You**:

- 1-2 years’ experience with events
- You have flexible availability ready to take on all allocated shifts based on our events calendar (including midweek and weekends). Mostly evening work.
- You have a solid background in hospitality management, especially in events
- You are driven to exceed customer expectations
- Hold current RSA qualification
- Previous event planning or operational supervisor responsibilities highly regarded
- You’re savvy, like to have fun, have lots of energy and can multi-task.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.25 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Rotating roster

**Experience**:

- Event operations: 2 years (preferred)
- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
- Hospitality management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- RSA (preferred)
