Tattoo Artist

Celebrity Ink and its associated tattoo artist role would require the highest standards of practises in all aspects of tattooing, from Customer service through to design and hygiene standards which celebrity Ink are world renowned for.

Consistently maintain a high level of work quality to ensure customer satisfaction, Also a part of this role is the constant ability to supervise and mentor our young junior artists.

Demonstrates a satisfactory level of punctuality and professionalism to the role and shows qualities in working and building relationships in a team environment.
- **Duties and responsibilities**:

- Consult with clients on preparation of designs and collaborate ideas for ultimate customer satisfaction.
- Prepare designs the day prior to appointment
- Responsible for preparation and setup of the station before commencing tattooing.
- Stencil and placement to be applied and given confirmation to proceed once the client and manager have approved.
- Perform tattooing with the correct strict hygiene standards in which Celebrity Ink have in bedded.
- After completion they are to examine the final piece and correct any minor flaws or imperfections prior to the client leaving.
- Responsible for giving the aftercare instructions on how to look after your tattoo once leaving the studio
- Pack down and clean up of the station and entire tattoo area for preparation of the next client.
- Ability to supervise and mentor our young aspiring artists.

**B. Skills**
- Must have completed a station setup practice prior to commencing work in our studio as per our training video.
- Competent in using procreate platform for designing
- Perform consultations at celebrity Ink’s high standards for ultimate customer satisfaction.
- Must have a broad range of tattooing techniques to ensure the standards we at Celebrity Ink are world renowned for.
- Demonstrates a satisfactory level of punctuality and time management
- Must Have a satisfactory understanding of retail environment
- Tattooing work experience and being highly skilled in design and tattooing based on our customer needs.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus

- Tattooing: 5 years (required)
