Smt Qc Technician

Due to expansion, we are seeking a QC technician for our SMT assembly area based at our Canning Vale headquarters.

**What must you have?**
- A minimum of 2 years recent SMT assembly and QC experience.
- Electronic component knowledge.
- Excellent hand soldering skills on fine pitch SMT components. (Short listed applicants will demonstrate soldering skills by completing a test)
- Pride in accuracy and quality of work.
- High attention to detail
- Good eyesight and fine motor skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Highly self-motivated.
- Available to work Monday-Friday 5 days a week.
- Able to work using a microscope.

**What will I do in this position?**
- General PCB assembly work.
- Through hole assembly.
- QC and rework.
- Removing faulty components and hand soldering replacement parts.
- Removing shorts between leads of IC’s
- Trouble shooting by reading diagrams and using a multi-meter to locate faulty parts.

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- fine pitch soldering: 2 years (preferred)
