We are looking for an experienced Inventory Analyst to join our faced paced Manufacturing team. This role involves working with all functions in the Finisar WSS business to drive effective inventory management decisions and actions.

Key responsibilities
- Co-ordinating project actions for inventory component transition plans within engineering, planning, production and configuration teams.
- Identifying root causes for excess and obsolete inventory and working with inventory owners to reduce and implement improved inventory management practices.
- Preparing inventory presentations for senior management.
- Providing projections of future inventory levels.

Essential Skills and Experiences
- Project co-ordination experience related to inventory optimisation
- Five years minimum experience in inventory planning/control /analysis
- A strong customer service approach
- Ability to engage a range of internal stakeholders
- Change management experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with outstanding attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Desirables
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain or inventory management.
- Knowledge of Fibre optics, electronics or telecommunications manufacturing
- Experienced user of Oracle ERP
- Experience in a make to order manufacturing environment

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
