**About the role**

Working for My Garden Maintenance, the day-to-day tasks will include general garden maintenance such as snipping (largely vertical edging), mowing, hedging, general plant pruning, leaf blowing, weed/pest identification and management, and garden waste removal. Garden tidy-ups are also common, where we are involved in full garden transformations Tasks may also include plant selection and planting, and soft landscaping such as digging garden beds, drainage trenches, building garden edges and placing stones.

General Info:

- Will work in a two-person team that operates throughout Brisbane, Mon-Fri. Applicant should be able to work independently and able to assess the requirements of a garden.
- The role we are looking to fill will also communicate and liaise with clients. The applicant should feel comfortable speaking with clients about their garden needs, able to provide quotes for garden care.
- Must be able to pick up work ute in **Mitchelton (4053)** every morning by 7am.
- Hours are flexible and change from week to week and also the season, depending on the circumstances. Currently, the weekly roster is full-time work.

**Skills and experience**
- Must be proficient with general garden maintenance skills, including:

- Snipping (vertical edging is a **MUST**)
- Hedging
- Mowing
- Blow down
- Weed and Pest management/identification
- Must be competent with gardening equipment, such as snippers, mowers, hand-hedgers, pole-hedgers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, and sprayers.
- Must have an **Australian manual driver’s license** and right to work.
- Horticultural certification or knowledge is a plus, but not compulsory. However, the ideal applicant should be willing to expand their knowledge.
- An existing knowledge of tool maintenance and upkeep is also a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm
Part-time hours: 36 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
