**Your new role**

**Essendon Volkswagen** are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **Roadworthy Technician** to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet all safety and regulatory standards for roadworthiness. You must be able to clearly demonstrate the below responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to determine roadworthiness.
- Identify and diagnose issues that could affect vehicle safety and compliance.
- Perform necessary repairs and maintenance to ensure vehicles meet roadworthy standards.
- Document inspection results and provide detailed reports to customers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with vehicle owners.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to perform accurate assessments.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this position, you should demonstrate the following:

- Certification as an Automotive Technician
- Valid Roadworthy Licence
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic Automotive Technician tools required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Experience with roadworthy inspections and compliance is highly desirable.
