**Your new role**:

Responsible for producing a wide range of content to support the implementation of the communications strategy and influence the organisations corporate reputation.
- Proactively identifying media opportunities.
- Organising and attending media events.
- Managing the owned external channels.
- Responding to media enquiries.
- Enhance and protect the organisations corporate reputation in the media - both traditional and digital.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key members of the media, internal stakeholders and counterparts including media and government advisors.
- Support the drafting, preparation and delivery of the organisations external publications such as the Annual Report.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Experience working with both traditional and new media.
- Demonstrated awareness of the workings of government.
- High level of accountability for the promotion and enhancement of the organisations purpose-driven corporate reputation.
- Ability to write exceptionally well across a wide range of mediums.
- Tertiary qualification in Communications/PR/Marketing/Media.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role.
- Strong sense of the news and media landscape.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in all the key responsibilities mentioned above.
