Set Up Camp has an exciting opportunity for a full time Workshop Manager to join the team at Underwood. We are the retailer for OPUS camper trailers, Star Vision, Hilltop Caravans and Highline Caravans in QLD and we are seeking an experienced and qualified person to lead the Brisbane Workshop team to ensure the smooth running of the workshop.

This role will directly report to the National Workshop Manager located in Sydney.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Weekly scheduling and co-ordination of incoming pre-delivery, service and warranty work
- Lead daily Tool Box meetings
- Oversee the workshop team (approx. 3 staff) to ensure priorities are set, scheduled work is completed on time to a high standard and that procedures have been followed
- Provide training and assistance to staff as required
- Greeting customers daily on drop off and again on customer pick up and working with customers on quotes for work required
- Handle customer service and repair requests efficiently and courteously, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.
- Hands on role for part of your hours each week to complete pre-delivery, service and warranty work yourself
- Documenting warranty claims to manufacturers requirements
- Transporting completed camper trailers between the PD centre and retail centre, and also to external third parties as required. Some towing experience is preferable.
- Installation of accessories, some including 12 volt wiring
- Servicing, plus general repairs and maintenance of camper trailers and caravans
- Washing and detailing campers for delivery to customers
- Detailed in person hand-over to customers of camper trailers, illustrating the full set up and pack down procedure
- Assisting customers on the phone to trouble shoot issues and discuss parts required
- Monitor and manage performance of staff
- Registration of camper trailers. HVRAS certification training will be provided.

Here are our minimum expectations:

- Qualification in Mechanics or similar
- Have a current driver’s license
- A forklift ticket
- Willing to get in and get your hands dirty
- Be a positive and motivating person to lead the team each day
- Willing to go above and beyond to give customers the best experience possible
- The ability to manage tasks through to completion
- Excellent time management skills and be highly organised
- A professional and customer focused attitude
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving and follow-up skills
- Towing experience (preferable)

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
