Labourers/rig Hands

We are seeking Labourers / Rig Hands for our Horizontal Directional Drilling operations in the Snowy Mountains. Experience working in construction, earthmoving, excavating or heavy equipment is highly valued but not essential.

Our HDD Labourers are required to:

- Assist the Site Supervisor and Driller in all aspects of Horizontal Directional Drilling on the project.
- Reflect professionalism, respect, punctuality, safety, and preparedness.

- Must be willing to work outdoors in all conditions and have previous general labour experience in construction, earthmoving, excavating, heavy equipment, and driving vehicles
- Perform various construction tasks using correct equipment.
- Assist HDD crews, equipment operators and VAC truck operators.
- Perform other duties as requested by their project supervisor
- Valid driver's license required, HR truck licence or any machinery tickets will be highly regarded.
- Construction white Card required

Individuals will be required to have a current police check (within last 3 months), pass a medical and physical (fit for work) including drug and alcohol testing. It is also a requirement of the project to undergo daily breath testing and random drug tests when required.

Roster will be Monday - Friday or two weeks on one week off, depending on your residental address. Accommodation will be in Cooma and a daily meal allowance is supplied. Travel from Canberra Airport to Cooma are paid by the company.

Wages will be negotiated depending on experience, tickets and field of previous work, although wages are above national average.
