Freight Clerk

Full time freight clerk position at a biomedial equipment company in Gladesville. Entry Level Position involves receiveing and unpacking incoming freight, packing outgoing freight using checklists, preparing shipping documents using freight company's software, managing warehouse organisation, cleanliness & stock levels, assembly and packaging of basic components. Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions and documented procedures, use check lists, good communication, basic computer shills and mechanical aptitude required. Learn new skills including use of walk-along pallet stacker. Opportunity to progress in the company for a motivated person.

- **Job Responsibilities include**:_
- Receive & unpack incoming freight
- Pack outgoing freight - you will need the ability to follow checklists
- Prepare shipping documents using freight company software
- Operate walk along forklift (No Cert required)
- Maintain warehouse inventory
- Keep warehouse organised & clean
- Assemble basic components and package
- Communicate with company personnel

- Good written and oral communication
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, E-mail, Internet)
- Ability to follow instructions and document procedures
- A self-motivated and organised team player

- Minimum education Year Ten or equivalent
- Training will be provided
- **Work Hours**_
- 38 hour week - Monday to Friday (during hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm)
