We are recruiting for **A Cert III qualified Educator **on a **permanent part-time basis (37.5 hours per week) **to join our team at SCUH Early Learning Service based in **Birtinya, QLD.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Your main responsibilities as a Childcare Educator will be supervising and interacting with the children, setting up activities and ensuring each one of our families feel welcome at our service.

Additional responsibilities of this role include (but not limited to):

- Nurture, care and educate children from birth to 5 years of age
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs to the children
- Identifying and documenting children’s learning and development
- Using innovative strategies to create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment
- Develop trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues and community stakeholders
- Ensure compliance of EYLF and NQS

**It is essential to have the following**:

- Demonstrated experience in early childhood education
- Holder of a Cert III of Children’s Services or equivalent or actively 'studying towards'.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Willingness to undertake the Y mandatory Child Protection Training
- Have a current Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain
