Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager, your keen eye for detail, drive to deliver a world class experience and ability to successfully manage and motivate a large and diverse team will ensure your success as the Executive Housekeeper In this role, you will be responsible for the operational, financial and strategic goals of the entire Housekeeping department inclusive of The Star Grand, The Darling, Dorsett and Star Residences.

**A few of your responsibilities**:

- Manage the operational requirements of the housekeeping department and provide leadership and direction to achieve the department's objectives
- Support Director of Hotels & Residences in the development of business plans for Housekeeping Services and implement the department and division’s strategies
- Liaise with the Hotel Management team in other operational areas to ensure the smooth running overall of the Hotel and Residences
- Ensure that operations are within budgetary requirements for labour, product and operational expenses
- Resolve customer service queries and concerns with diplomacy and tact
- Manage staff and complete all people planning requirements including recruitment, training and development and performance management of staff

**What are we looking for?**
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of a large Hotel department in a 5-star Hotel
- Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses
- Great interpersonal skills with proactive attitude
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills
