Permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week, North Sydney location

Are you a natural leader with a green thumb and an eye for detail? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Horticulturist.

This full-time position at a prestigious school site offers 38 hours per week, a competitive benefits package, and superannuation. As a Horticulturist, you will have the opportunity to assist with mentoring team members and ensuring our client's standards of garden maintenance are not only met but exceeded.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with leading a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of horticulture and fine turf maintenance requirements for the site
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
- Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.

**About You**:
This is an incredible opportunity if you have just finished your trade certificate and are looking for the next stepping stone in your career. You can take a step up and work on some high-profile gardens and turf at one of Green by Nature's award-winning sites.

You have a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens and excellent working knowledge of all of the tools and equipment used at our site, such as hedgers, whipper snippers, push and ride on mowers and cylinder.

You have a current drivers licence and are willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and White Card if you don't already have them. If you have a working at heights ticket this would be highly regarded.

Most importantly you are a team player with proven ability to communicate with people from all walks of life.
