**Role Highlights**
- Oversee and deliver S&C programs to Olympic and Paralympic level athletes.
- Represent SASI and contribute to national S&C forums.
- Based at the brand new South Australian Sports Institute facility at Mile End.

**Role Details**

The Head of Physical Preparation role is accountable for establishing and maintaining world-class technical expertise and service delivery, identifying and contributing to innovation/research projects, integrating emerging technology and systems, and influencing system-wide knowledge growth. The role will manage the SASI strength and conditioning facilities and required staffing to deliver strength and conditioning support across SASI sport programs, ensuring relevance and alignment with national partner priorities. The role will also involve direct delivery of strength and conditioning support to athletes and coaches.

**Special Conditions**
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.

**Essential Requirements**
- A current driver's licence and willingness to drive.
- Bachelor degree in Exercise, Health, Sport Science or related field.
- ASCA Professional Coach Accreditation (PCAS) or international equivalent.
- Sport Integrity Australia (old ASADA L2) or willingness to complete.
- Current First Aid and resuscitation certificate.

**Salary Range**

$101,285- $107,078 p.a.
