**About Us**

Link2U Services are an NDIS registered provider that assist NDIS participants through a range of support services including Support Co-ordination, Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Social and Community Participation to increase their independence by working with the participant and their carer, family and network of services to build their capacity and achieve their NDIS goals.

**About the Role**

Due to the expansion of our clientele, we are seeking a male support worker to assist our participant living in the Campbelltown area with their daily living tasks including personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, community participation, therapy programs and attending appointments.

You will ideally have experience in personal care to ensure that participants feel comfortable and supported while performing daily living tasks. In addition, your personality and people skills will further assist you to ensuring successful outcomes and building rapport with the participant, their families and other therapists within in their support circle.

You will be required to work 6 hours per day Monday to Friday. You will ideally reside in the Campbelltown or surrounding areas.

The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic and experienced team who are motivated to make change and improve participants quality of life.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Experience supporting participants who have suffered a stroke or other conditions including Intellectual Disability, ADHD, Autism, Mental Health conditions or other complex behaviour (unpaid experience will be considered)
- A qualification in disability, aged care or similar (preferred)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC number required or willingness to obtain)
- Covid 19 Vaccinations - 4 doses (as permitted by NSW Health Services)
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Great Team Player and Work Ethics
- Physically fit and energetic
- Knowledge of Policy and Procedures
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Compassionate, empathetic and patient
- Good computer skills
- Smart Phone
- Reliable and punctual

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Perform personal care duties
- Assist participant to mobilise with equipment aids
- Motivate and build the participants confidence in their daily living skills
- Build participants confidence to access the community
- Engage and support the participant with their interests
- Implement positive role modelling
- Build effective relationships with participants, their families and support network
- Complete shift notes and necessary reporting requirements
- Adhere to Link2U Services policy and procedures and NDIS standards.
